Justin’s journey in golf began at the age of eleven, following years of competing in AAA baseball and AA hockey. His passion for the sport quickly took root as he honed his skills at Country Lane Golf Course before transitioning to Lakeridge Links, where he secured his first Junior Club Championship. His success in various Junior Tours earned him an invitation to a College Prospect tournament, drawing interest from scouts in the southern United States. However, Justin chose to stay local, enrolling in the Business Administration – Professional Golf Management program at Durham College. His dedication to academics matched his commitment to golf, as he graduated with honours and received President’s Roll distinctions.
In 2004, Justin joined the Royal Ashburn Golf Club as an apprentice, immersing himself in the professional side of the game. A year later, with his father proudly serving as his caddy, he made the leap to professional golf. His relentless pursuit of excellence and deep understanding of the game is what led Justin to earn his PGA of Canada Class “A” designation in 2008, marking a significant milestone in his career.
With years of experience in both playing and coaching, Justin has developed a keen ability to nurture aspiring golfers, helping them refine their skills and deepen their appreciation for the game. His expertise extends beyond instruction, as he has also played a key role in club operations, event coordination, and mentorship programs. His passion for the sport is evident in his hands-on approach, ensuring that every golfer he works with reaches their full potential.
Justin is proud to be a part of the Royal Ashburn Golf Club team and remains dedicated to growing the game by sharing his knowledge, experience, and love for golf with players of all levels.
