BUILDING MAINTENANCE
Royal Ashburn Golf Club is seeking reliable, self-motivated individuals to join our Maintenance and Event Setup team. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring our event spaces are beautifully and efficiently prepared for weddings, banquets, tournaments, and other special occasions. Duties include setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, and equipment, as well as providing general maintenance support throughout the property.
The ideal candidate is physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, enjoys staying active, and takes pride in a job well done. Shifts vary and may include mornings, afternoons, and evenings, with a strong focus on weekend availability. This role is well-suited for retirees or semi-retired individuals who want to remain active, as well as students seeking flexible part-time work in a supportive environment.

As one of Durham Region’s premier event venues, Royal Ashburn Golf Club takes great pride in its attention to detail and commitment to excellence. The team strives to create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests. The Club is currently seeking a Bartender to join its hospitality team and contribute to the successful execution of all bar functions. This role involves the preparation and serving of beverages, maintaining bar-related equipment, and organizing and stocking alcohol. While it is an entry-level position, it places strong emphasis on developing the skills and experience necessary for career growth within the company.
The Bartender will have the opportunity to learn about mixology, including the ingredients and flavor profiles of various drinks, as well as the history behind cocktails. Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking orders, mixing and serving beverages, following recipes and techniques, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a part-time position offering a pay rate of $17.20 per hour, along with benefits such as discounted or free food and store discounts. Candidates with one year of bartending experience are preferred, and a valid Smart Serve certification is required. The role is based on-site, with all work performed in person.
Royal Ashburn Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join its team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests by ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys contributing to a positive atmosphere, and has a strong eye for detail.
The Housekeeper will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning each cottage, including bedrooms, washrooms, living areas, and kitchenettes. Duties include changing bed linens, towels, and amenities, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, and cleaning bathrooms with appropriate supplies to maintain a pristine appearance. Additional responsibilities involve reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards, following established cleaning protocols, assisting with laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, and monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies while notifying management when restocking is required.
Previous experience in hospitality or custodial roles is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or industrial cleaning techniques is considered an asset. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service are essential.
This position is part-time and seasonal, offering a pay rate of $17.20 per hour along with benefits such as discounted or free food, flexible scheduling, and on-site parking. All work is conducted in person.
