Ducks Unlimited Canada has protected wetlands and waterfowl for over 70 years. We are now sharing our experience and enthusiasm for wetland conservation with educators and students through Project Webfoot our international environmental education program.
In 2009, a new ten acre wetland was created at The Royal Ashburn Golf Club with the help and partnership of Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), The Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority (CLOCA), and The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH). Since then these organizations and the Royal Ashburn Golf Club have continued to work together to create awareness for the importance of wetland conservation.

As a sponsor you can choose a class in your community to benefit from The Project Webfoot program. This includes a valuable resources package of individual and classroom resources provided by Ducks Unlimited Canada and supports the school curriculum focusing on habitats and communities, biodiversity and related environmental and wetland conservation topics.
A field trip, to a local DUC wetland, linked to the DUC in-class materials and curriculum which includes a guided, hands-on learning experience, lots of interactive activities, and a transportation subsidy to cover or help cover the cost of busing to get to the wetland field trip location.
With your generous donation you can help a class in your local community learn more about the importance of wetlands and why saving them and the great work that Ducks Unlimited Canada does is so important.
